Dear cartoonist,   We like to thank you for your participation to the 22nd Euro-kartoenale Kruishoutem 'The Wall'.   We are so happy that we can announce you that we did receive 2713 entries from 975 cartoonists from 86 different countries. This amount can increase a little bit, because some works are still waiting for us in the post office and will be uploaded tomorrow.   Thanks a lot for all your creativity, witty and craftmanship. We are sure that the jury will have a difficult job.   In this mail we like to give you some information about the next steps:   next week the first round of the jury selection will take place (online) 25th of January the live jury meeting will take place in Kruishoutem  the 26th of January we will announce the nominees for the prizes, who did win which prize will only be announcend on the opening ceremony the 3th of February you can check online if your cartoons are selected for the catalogue and/or exhibition The prize giving ceremony and inauguration of the exhibition will take place on Saturday the 20th of April The exhibition in the ECC will be from the 22nd of April till the 30th of June, after that a smaller travelling exhibition will be organised Notice about the catalogue All cartoonists who are selected for the catalogue do receive automatically a copy in the beginning of May All participating cartoonists can get a free copy on request, however the postage costs are for their own account.       Follow the next steps online     From tomorrow on, we will reveal every day the identity of one of the jury members on our website and on our Facebookpages and Instagram.   Follow the jury meeting on the 25th of January on our Facebook and Instagram Stories.
